Welcome to Forthtelling. Why name a website Forthtelling? Often times in Christian thinking we confuse “foretelling” with “forthtelling”. Foretelling is the idea of being able to tell what is going to happen in some time period ahead. On the other hand, Forthtelling is the action of proclaiming, making something known and even explaining now the reason and understanding of something that is to occur in the future. Most of my life, my work has been the work and actions of making known the presence of Christ in our lives and in the world. I have spent decades seeking to proclaim (forth tell) the Gospel of God. So, as I come to this website about me and things I am doing, I decided that the concept of Forthtelling is what it s would be about. That is likely more than you wanted to know, but maybe it puts the puzzle together for you.
The purpose of this site is to give you quick and easy electronic connection to me as a person as well as having information I would like have and to know what I am up to in this new season of my life.
It is also the place where we post information about travel opportunities that Jenny and I are hosting. We love to travel and have found doing this we serve people both in the experience they have and in getting the greatest value in their travel. You will see travel listed at the top of the page. We hope you will find the next exploration you might be interested in.
